We are at the center of a super safe, family-centered town that looks like it’s out of a picture book - with the schools, library, playground, ball fields, fire station (where the kids can get on the trucks and wear the firemans’ hats on Monday nights!), and library all within a 2 block radius.
Our home is a haven for comfort, growing, and fun with a kitchen that is at the heart of our daily lives, big windows to watch all the wild animals that frequent our yard, generous bookcases for inspiration, plants, and even a karaoke corner! Our yard comes with a shed kitted out with fun things to ensure every day is an adventure (kayaks, bikes, paddleboards, sports equipment).
With the best kid-friendly beaches close by and the museums and cultural fun of NYC just a train ride away, we have everything we need to ensure a child has a well-rounded, supportive upbringing full of opportunity and adventure.
We love the outdoors and can often be found going for hikes up in the mountains, exploring new surroundings by bike, or heading down to our local beach with pup in tow. We love to travel and can’t wait to share America and the world with a child.
When we’re not off on an adventure, we love playing board games, watching sports, family book club, and cooking tasty meals. One of our regular traditions with extended family is ‘Sunday pasta’ where four generations of our (big!) extended Italian family gather to check in, laugh, and fill our bellies with yummy food!
Our belief is that a family oriented around shared activities, family rituals (serious or silly) and strong values creates an environment that is healthy, filled with love and belonging, where everyone - especially a little one - can thrive.
Sirius (yes, from Harry Potter!) is a six-year old Bernedoodle who just loves children. He’s very well trained and cute, respectful, and gentle. He loves to go to the beach and chase rocks and is very patient when kids use him as a pillow come nap time. He will be the best big brother.
“My dad calls me his animagus, but I don’t see the resemblance.”
“My favorite things are rocks and water.”
“I like naps and don’t mind when the littles nap on me.”
“I can’t wait to have someone to play with.”
